Hoodia supplements are pretty much everywhere, like stores and magazines, but the number one place for marketing and buying hoodia supplements is online. One of the reasons for this is that hoodia supplements do not require a prescription and have very little controls surrounding them. This has both upsides and downsides. Among the downsides is the fact that there are many hoodia supplements being sold which are not pure hoodia gordonii; either they have been mixed with something else or there is no hoodia gordonii in them at all. The second type of hoodia supplement is still hoodia, but not the type that has the appetite suppressing qualities, as there are many types of hoodia. Only hoodia gordonii has the active ingredient P-57. These other hoodia supplements are much cheaper to produce and can still technically be marketed as hoodia. The positive side of this is that you can buy a hoodia supplement without a prescription from your doctor. It can be embarrassing to ask for this prescription, and doctors do not give them out easily. Even when doctors do prescribe an appetite suppressant it is always for a short period of time. With hoodia supplements this is not a problem, you can buy as much as you want without a doctor's permission because hoodia supplements are safe and side effect free.

Nobody likes dieting, because dieting means a change from the normal routines that are comfortable to us. It means a change in food and a change in lifestyle, and is not pleasant at first. The trick to dieting is finding a way to make healthier choices and cut down on fat and calories in your diet with as little suffering as possible. Even though more extreme versions of dieting will have you exercising five hours a day and living off of a few carrot sticks, it is simply not something that can be maintained regardless of if you drop weight in the short term. For effective, yet safe weight loss there are a couple of methods and tricks you can use. The first thing to realize is that a rapid change from hefty to skinny is most likely not achievable, there is not going to be an instant solution to a problem that developed over the course of years; and even if you do manage it there is no way that it was safe weight loss. Safe weight loss means not losing more than three or four pounds maximum per week (depending on your starting weight of course). There will be times when a piece of fruit is not going to stand a chance against a piece of chocolate cake when put side by side. Safe weight loss can still be successful if you use an appetite suppressant, you just need to chose the right one. This is where Hoodia enters into safe weight loss. It is completely safe, having no side effects, and is very effective. You can still achieve your weight loss by having an occasional piece of cake or chocolate bar, but it requires portion control and should only be eaten on rare occasion.
